August is the month when the citizens of Negrești-Oaș working abroad reunite with their families enjoying the events organized by the town each year under the brand of „The Oaș Dowry”.
Although the necessary measures to prevent the spread of the new Coronavirus did not allow for these events to be organized as it was usually done, a series of outdoor events as well as creative workshops for children were still prepared.
August 17-23: Creative workshops for children – „Travelling in the past for future successes”, a series of events organized in partnership with the Edutopia Association;
August 22-23: TIFF Movie Caravan – film screenings for both adults and children at the Outdoor Oaș Land Museum;
August 28 – „Noaptea Menestrelilor” Folk music concert, performed in collaboration with the Azuria Association, at the Outdoor Oaș Land Museum.
Access was free, however limited due to the conditions of physical distance necessary to prevent the spread of the new Coronavirus.
