With the arrival of the spring, the town of NegreÅti-OaČ dresses up, celebrating the feast of the fine arts – Annunciation Art Exhibition, or āArt Bunavestireā in Romanian.
The traditional annual plastic art exhibition merges with the group of local artists that first established it, raised it and consecrated it throughout the country. The opening of the exhibition takes place annually on March 25, being closely related to a religious holiday, the Annunciation Day.
The artists of OaČ and their renowned guests from all over the country and the world herald the arrival of spring through the vivid colors of their work. The exhibition is hosted in the edifice carrying the name of the one who chose the day for this celebration of modern culture, the āDr. Mihai Popā Art Galleries.
