One of the spiritual masterpieces of the Oas Country lifts itself piously and harmoniously on one of the peaks of Oas Country, at the interference from Satu Mare county and Maramures county: the monastery “The Saint Trinity-Moiseni”, a monastery of nuns, the first and the only one of this sort from the entire Oas Country.
The church was built in 2004, it is made up of pine-tree wood, in Moldavian style, erected under the close guidance and supervision of master Petre Ciornei from Vatra Moldovitei. The entire wooden structure was raised on a concrete foundation in an extremely short period of time: a month (in the same year, 2004). The monastery is endowed with 4 bells of 500, 400, 300 and 200 kilos.
The cells of the nuns living here were also built starting from 2005.
